France - China Award

Cylande takes the SME France - China award

Cylande has been granted the first  SME France-China 2007 award*. Madam Christine Lagarde, Minister for Economy, Finances and Enterprises presented this prize to Jean-Pïerre PAUGAM, Cylandes President, on the afternoon of the 11th of December in Le Havre at the opening of the 2nd edition of the Industrial Business convention China Europe in presence of Chinas Vice-Minister for Commerce.

This prize rewards Cylandes strategy which has been in place in China since 2005. Cylande entered into its active development stage via its local office by using its solutions in chain stores both in Specialised Commerce and in the Mass Distribution sector.

To this day there are already 4 Head Offices and approximately 100 stores that are fully operational with a large number of other files in the finalisation phase. Thanks to our internal teams, our partners and to the localisation of our Head Office and Store solutions, we will be able to radiate throughout Asia.

* The SME France - China 2007 Award is organised by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry Assembly (ACFCI) and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Assembly (CCIFC) within the framework of the Action Plans for China, put into place by the ACFCI in collaboration with the CCIFC, as a means to significantly increase French presence in China. By allotting this prize, the ACFCI and the CCIFC hope to encourage the development of French SME's in continental China and to recognise and support the efforts of SME's having successfully begun durable activities in China, especially by relying on the French Consulate network.
